Concerned Professionals (CP) is an association of
working professionals committed to the enthronement and nurturing of true
democracy, good governance and the rule of law.
Its membership, consisting of professionals engaged in various full time
pursuits, but desirous of positive changes in the body polity, came into
being in the wake of the annulled June 1993 elections as a direct response
to the resultant chaos at the time. The trio of Mr. Atedo Peterside, Mr.
Sam Oni and Prof. Pat Utomi initiated the idea for the formation of CP.
